Donations and membership

The Wincanton History Society aims to preserve the rich tapestry of Wincanton's past. The Society is a charity, its efforts are supported by the generosity of its members and the public, with donations contributing to the operational costs and the continuation of events that enrich the local community. The Wincanton Museum & History Society stands as a beacon of community spirit and historical preservation, inviting all to explore the stories that have shaped the town and its surroundings.

The society and museum are entirely volunteer-run and rely on donations and membership fees to continue their valuable work in the community. From as little as £25 a year, you can enjoy a range of exclusive benefits including unlimited access to all our talks, events and discounts on our merchandise.

Become a member today and join a group of peers who share a passion for history and help us care for the heritage of Wincanton.
